Placemats are a clever alternative to a tablecloth and are suitable for both everyday use and special occasions. This placemat pairs well with other colors and patterns.

Shrinkage is approximately 6% in the first wash. At the same time, the colors become even more vibrant as the threads fall into place. (Size after wash is as indicated)
I wove these placemats with this pattern for the first time in 1995, and they were the first I created using my own weaving technique. The idea was to test this technique on a width of 50 cm, which is perfect for placemats. And what do you place on a placemat if not a plate and cutlery? That’s where the inspiration for the design came from.
The table mat is woven and sewn in Sweden in an environmentally friendly way.
